Research

We see research as a constant "search" for new types of therapy that will ensure a better future for our young patients. This "search" includes clinical trials and basic research experiments. It consists of regional and international collaboration with outstanding experts and continues to evolve through intensive dialog and critical analysis.

Volatile organic compounds in respiratory gas

Our department is able to take samples of the respiratory gas of patients. The measurements are taken in cooperation with our partners Wolfram Miekisch from the Rostock University Medical Center and Erich Leitner from Graz University of Technology.

We are happy to support other research groups by taking respiratory gas samples from their patients for scientific purposes.
